Claude Coffee

Discover the cat-tastic Claude Coffee by Round Hill Roastery in the guest hopper at 49 Old St

The story goes that Monsieur Claude (the cat) asked Round Hill Roastery to source and roast his favourite coffee for the World of Coffee 2018 in Amsterdam. Working hard with the whole team and after cupping many many many bowls of coffee they've selected a classic. Hunkute lot number two. Hunkute is a Cooperative in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia.

Sidamo region is famous for its clean and floral coffees.

What makes this coffee truly unique is that it is certified EU Organic. There are 1912 farmers in the co-op, all of whom will deliver their cherries fresh to the washing station daily throughout the harvest period. Hunkute opened washing station number two in 2012, and are fast developing a fantastic reputation for outstanding quality. The coffee is exported through the Sidamo Cooperative Union who are also responsible for the dry milling, grading, bagging and export.
