Since her visit to the UK in 2018, Ayesha McGowan returns to 49 Old St. on Monday 23rd July sharing the developments on hermission to become the first ever African-American pro female road racer in conversation with London cyclist, blogger, presenter, and soon-to-be published author Jools Walker AKA Velo City Girl.
"I am extremely passionate about learning how to work for, and be a part of a cohesive team dynamic along with creating representation in cycling that will encourage and inspire other African-American women and youth to follow their dreams whatever they may be."
A vivacious and engaging speaker, Ayesha wants to bring her message to as many people as possible, encouraging them not only to pursue their own cycling ambitions, but also to support others in working towards theirs.
Join us on the night to meet Ayesha and Jools, ask your questions, or watch the evening via facebook LIVE. The audio will also be recorded and shared afterwards via Wheel Suckers Podcast. We serve Square Mile Coffee Roasters, craft beer and food until 9pm.
Hosted by Jools Walker aka Vélo-City-Girl: velocitygirl.co.uk/
