We're hosting the UK premiere of Sandy Carson's short film California Golde, a piece about riding bikes in California and all the hardships that come with big, hard, ambitious tours.
"The short film chronicles a completely analog tour off the grid—with no digital devices, apps, or GPS. A window to a time before, as Ron's Bikes @UltraRomance says, "we became cyborgs," it's a project he considers an "art film," blending the aesthetic of 70s surf movies with the modern-day popularity of off-road bike touring.".
The film is 11.27 mins of Kodak Golde.
Roll down to drink and chat with Sandy from 6pm, we'll screen the film at 7pm and 8pm.
