We're screening a short documentary produced by PEdAL ED on the first edition of the Silk Road Mountain Race, a brand new unsupported bikepacking race that takes place in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
It’s already made itself a bit of a reputation as being seriously tough but beautiful.
Get ready for stunning mountain landscapes and horrendous weather conditions.
We’ll start the night off by screening the video which should last around 30 mins.
Then hear stories from riders that took part in the first edition of the race: Pete McNeil, Peta McSharry and Levente Bagoly.
Opening up the floor to questions for the riders with race director Nelson Trees, plus riders Phillipa Battye, Giacomo Maltman and Bengt who will also be attending.
It’ll be the opportunity for anyone thinking of entering to learn more about the second edition of the race which will be officially announced on the night.
