El Salvador

Press Coffee London's El Salvador can be found in the guest grinder at 49 Old St.

El Salvador, El Borbollon, is a delicious single origin brew tasting of Apple, marzipan and hazelnut.

"This coffee is pulped without water and then fermented for 16 – 20 hours until peak fermentation is achieved. Then is washed in clean, fresh water to remove all traces of mucilage. The parchment coffee is moved to the mill’s expansive clay patios, where it is slowly sundried and regularly turned by hand."

Press Coffee London's first location was Fleet Street Press in 2013 with the aim of doing things a little differently. Sorry, a lot differently. In 2016 they opened their second and third store across The City in Chancery Press and Saint Bride Press.

In 2017 they set up their own roastery working with our previous head barista Simone (that we interviewed here in 2015) pictured above. They started to import and roast green beans from over 15 countries around the world. 2018 is the year they'll launch a fourth site in Central London. Keep your eyes peeled for great things from this lot.
