Wiper and True takeover our Southbank Pop-up to showcase their new collaborative beer "All the colours of the dark" alongside a selection of their Bristol brewed beers.
Wiper and True have collaborated with Hellfire Video Club, a Bristol-based film night who bring psychotrophic celluoid to the Bristol public on a monthly basis. W+T's collaboration marks their 5th Birthday and the beer they've created takes it's name and inspiration from cult Italian psychedelic horror film "Tutti I Colori Del Buio", translated as "All the colours of the dark".
You may think that a 70's psychedelic horror film is a strange place to seek inspiration for brewing but we wanted to brew a beer as mesmerising as the film.
It's a beer that challenges the senses, but is still satisfying and enjoyable. Something that leaves you puzzled but with a smile. W+T settled on a sour black India Pale Ale which has bright fruit hop notes, subtle roasted malt flavours and a tart citrus finish.
Head down to our Southbank Pop-up to try All the colours of the dark on Thursday 23rd June.
